A medieval castle, graceful houses, street art, charming squares and markets full of goodies: in the centre all attractions are side by side. During this tour you will meet lots of it and discover the Belfry, the highest tower in Ghent and the Cloth Hall. Enjoy the amazing panorama over the city from the gallery on the Belfry. Assembly point, quality control as well as market hall for all the cloth produced in and around the city, it was the medieval hotspot for cloth trade.

  • Start and finish of the walk to be agreed on with the guide.
  • The entrance fee to the Belfry is not included in the price. 
  • A ticket costs 6 euro per person.
  • Your Covid certificate is required when visiting the Belfry.
  • Face coverings are mandatory indoors from the age of 10. 
  • It is highly recommended to wear a face covering when the safety distance of 1.5 m cannot be maintained.
  • After climbing 44 steps you reach the elevator (1st floor) that takes you to the top.
