The cosiness of Ghent in picturesque small streets
Join us for a walk through the “Patershol” (“Cavern of the Fathers”) and Prince’s Court, two beautiful districts where the medieval soul of Ghent is still alive.
More about this tour
The medieval street pattern has been well preserved in Patershol. The district is located at the edge of the city centre and is a splendid meeting place for those who love culture, diversity and folk flair. From this oldest part of the city of Ghent we continue our walk in the direction of Prince’s Court. Join us and get lost in the picturesque and often car-free streets of this part of the city which once belonged to the count. Our destination is the Dark Gate of Prince’s Court, where no one else than Emperor Charles V was born.
